The dream walker

When thirteen-year-old Eddie Kramer from San Francisco buys an unusual antique deck of cards from an old flea-market trader, the greatest adventure of his life begins. From then on, a chain of incredible events shapes his existence.

Eddie discovers a street invisible to most people, yet real. Here, extraordinary people pursue one common goal: the search for the "Book of Dreams", lost for thousands of years. The knowledge it holds would allow every person to turn the dreams of their life into reality. Only one chosen person – Eddie Kramer – can retrieve it from its secret place at an appointed time.

Supported by magical objects and accompanied by his new friends, Eddie sets out. A dangerous journey lies ahead, for the dark powers of the "Council of Eleven" are close behind. His quest leads him to the Hopi and finally to the mysterious highlands of Tibet, to Shambhala, where mystical legends become real.
